This policy explains what the AutoSchedulePost Auto Scheduler browser extension (“the extension”) does with your information. The extension is a client for your existing AutoSchedulePost account — it does not run a service of its own.

What the extension accesses

• Account login — your email and password are sent once, directly to the server address you enter, to obtain an access token. The password is never stored by the extension.
• Access token — stored locally in the browser (chrome.storage.local) so you stay signed in. It is sent only to your server, as a Bearer token.
• Server address — the URL of your AutoSchedulePost installation, stored locally so you don’t re-type it.
• Content you enter — keywords, WordPress site details (URL, username, application password), and AI provider API keys you choose to save. These are transmitted only to your own AutoSchedulePost server, which stores them on your behalf (API keys and site passwords are encrypted at rest by the server).

How information is used

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To schedule posts, connect WordPress sites, configure your AI provider, and show posts your account has generated.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or analytics.
• The extension talks only to the server URL you provide — to no other servers.
• The extension does not read or modify the content of other websites you visit. It requests permission for a single server origin, only after you enter it and sign in.

Third parties

When your server generates content it uses the AI provider (e.g. Anthropic/OpenAI/OpenRouter) and the WordPress sites you configure. Those services process data under their own terms; the extension itself sends nothing to them directly.

Data retention & deletion

The token and settings stored by the extension are removed when you click Log out or uninstall the extension. Account data held on your AutoSchedulePost server is governed by that server’s policies and can be removed by your administrator.
