Privacy Policy

Last updated August 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information AutoSchedulePost ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, dashboard, and Chrome extension, and how that information is used, stored, and protected.

Information we collect

  • Account details — name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
  • WordPress site credentials — the site URL, username, and application password you provide to connect a WordPress site. These are encrypted at rest and used only to publish content you schedule.
  • AI provider API keys — if you supply your own key (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter), it is encrypted at rest and used only to generate content on your behalf.
  • Content data — keywords, topics, generated articles, and scheduling preferences you create in the dashboard.
  • Billing information — when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay or Stripe, depending on region). We do not store your full card or UPI details on our servers — the gateway handles that under its own security standards.
  • Usage data — basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the service running reliably.

How we use this information

  • To operate your account and provide the scheduling, keyword research, and publishing features you sign up for.
  • To generate content using the AI provider configured on your account.
  • To publish scheduled posts to the WordPress sites you connect.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send essential account and service emails (e.g. login, billing, scheduling notifications).

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We do not use your content, keywords, or site data for advertising.
  • We do not share your WordPress credentials or AI API keys with anyone other than the services strictly required to deliver the feature you're using (e.g. sending your prompt to the AI provider you selected, publishing to the WordPress site you connected).

Third parties

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate: your chosen AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter) to generate content, and a payment gateway (Razorpay or Stripe) to process subscriptions. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies and terms.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we remove your stored WordPress credentials, API keys, and generated content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep billing records for legal or accounting purposes.

Chrome extension

If you use our Chrome extension, its data handling is covered separately in the Extension Privacy Policy.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. See our Cookie Policy for details.
